This is a athletic cinematic story about one of Africa's best boxers of our generation. This video brings the viewer into the Thulani Mbenges world. Telling his story through a powerful voice over coupled with emotive shot selection. The story telling elements which will make up our content piece are cinematic reenactments by Tulz in the gym, actors watching his fights, old footage of his fights and a powerful voice over that drive the whole narrative.
Insights and Execution
The true story video allowed us to share the story of one of South Africa’s boxers Tulz. Thulani Mbenge is a South African boxer, who competes in the welterweight division. As a professional athlete, Mbenge has been performing for 7 years. Thulani was born in Mdantsane, Eastern Cape, South Africa, on July 15, 1991. He currently resides in Eastern Cape, South Africa. A 23-year-old Mbenge made his professional debut on May 16, 2015 against Makhosonke Abrahams. Thulani won by knockout (KO). He is a young and ambitious men, currently IBO world champion rated 14 in the world. I’m all about dreams and inspiring young kids to do better. This video allows us to share his story through a voice-over and encourage individuals to work harder.
