What The Brand Needed

Lunga is a character Thapelo developed – he will be teaching young kids how to protect themselves and be COVID-19 heroes (please see attached draft design, to give you an idea of the look and feel for the poster campaign). This is a 5 video project with the theme is very much superhero cartoonish, hence the reference to ZAP, BOOM, SMASH, etc. increments.

Insights and Execution

Video 1 : Lunga reminds children how to fight COVID-19, Video 2: What are common COVID-19 symptoms, Video 3: Ask for help when you are sick, Video: 4 COVID-19 heroes prevent the spread of germs and Video 5: Be like Lunga – earn your superhero badge by help your friends fight COVID-19

The crew focused on the following elements; In order to animate Lunga, what format do you need him in? Lunga will talk during the video – will you be able to animate his mouth? Used an attached scripts attached for the voice over artist – is this part of your service offering? Voice needs to be that of a young child. Followed an attached the design brief, which is for posters. This will show you what elements to highlight in each animation. For instance, video one, focus on preventative measures like washing hands, wearing a mask, etc. The video should include some copy too – see the below vids as examples. We included heading’s for each respective video (as per the design brief) Video length – I would like something short and punchy.
